This is the personal website of Abdalla Misbah, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It collects as little as possible. This page explains exactly what that is.
Contact form
When you send the form, it collects your name, email, inquiry type, organization (optional) and message. These are used only to reply to you. They are validated on the server and sent as an email to Abdalla's inbox through an email delivery provider (Resend), which processes them only to deliver that email and may keep a delivery record under its own retention policy. They are not stored in a database, and message contents are not written to logs.
If email delivery is not set up, your message is still checked on the server, then discarded without being sent or stored, and the form offers a link to send it from your own email app instead.
Spam protection
To limit abuse, your IP address is used to count submissions per hour. It is kept only in the server's memory, not on disk, to enforce that limit, and is not linked to your message. A hidden field and a minimum fill time also filter out bots.
Retention
Messages stay in Abdalla's email inbox as long as needed to reply and follow up, and are deleted on request.
Cookies and local storage
There are no tracking or advertising cookies. NEXT_LOCALE is a session cookie that remembers your language. It is set when you switch language, or when you open a page in a language other than your browser's preferred one. theme in localStorage remembers light/dark/system and never leaves your browser.
Analytics
The site uses no analytics or tracking scripts. If privacy-friendly analytics is added later, this page will be updated first.
Separately, the hosting provider may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and operations.
